This week, Teresa (Rosales) Tatum (BDHS Class of 2008) honored fellow graduate Sara Newman with the following note: Ms. Newman and I met over 25 years ago when we were both students at Stout Field Elementary! Since that time, she knew she wanted to be a teacher and give back to the community we came from, and she's worked tirelessly to do so. Ms. Newman pours into her students every day and is one of the most dedicated educators I know. She deserves to be recognized this Teacher Appreciation Week--and every day!
