Jaimie and I met our sophomore year in Greek and Latin class taught by Mrs. Corwin. We had to keep daily journals and Jaimie asked her in his journal to sit him near me. She put him right behind me where he played with my hair and took my things to get my attention. We did not get together until our junior year when we made eyes at each other at an under 21 dance club on Lafayette road. We danced a lot, exchanged numbers and our story began. I thought he was just giving me a pick up line when he told me his birthdate, but yes, we have the exact same birthdate and year. From then on we were connected. After graduation, we both went to IUPUI and lived at our homes so we would not be separated. There were ups and downs as we grew into our twenties but we were married on Oct. 4, 1991 (the month and day we made things official in 1984). We have 4 wonderful, handsome boys and have lived in Plainfield, Indiana ever since. No grandchildren yet but our oldest is currently engaged, second is an architect in Orlando, FL., third is in medical school to be a DO, and our baby is a senior at Marion University running track. God has truly blessed us in so many ways.
