We met at Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center (the old BDJ). We were in band together and played clarinet. At the time we didn’t connect and Chris wasn’t fond of me. As time went on and we were in band camp together the summer between 8th and 9th grade we started to form a friendship that eventually turned into a relationship. Then 9th grade, we continued talking and being friends. During the summer before our sophomore year we decided to start dating. We became inseparable, we were together every day. Sophomore year I knew I wanted to marry Chris and he knew he wanted to marry me. We loved being in band together and sharing every opportunity Ben Davis had to offer, our relationship grew stronger. Chris was a guard boyfriend that helped with props and was there every time I had a competition. We were even on a BDTV PDA stream for giving each other a kiss before going to our next class, talk about embarrassing. Ben Davis is what turned our friendship into a forever commitment between us. We graduated in 2010 and moved on to Indiana State University. I became a social worker and Chris became a registered nurse. We got married on April 27, 2014 shortly before college graduation. Currently I am a stay at home mom to 3 beautiful children, Olivia (9), Archie (6), and Atlas (10 months). Prior to being a stay at home mom I was a social worker focusing on individuals with addiction. Chris is a traveling registered nurse that stays close during the school year and we get to travel in the summers with him. Our favorite travel spot is Virginia. To this day we are inseparable and have built a beautiful marriage and family.
